Basic DSL

Basic DSL is $34.95 per month.  It boosts your online speeds and supplies an "always on" connection allowing you to talk on the phone and work on your computer at the same time. With DSL, you can eliminate the second telephone line reserved for your dial-up connection. Basic DSL runs up to 12 times faster than dial-up with downloads of up to 768K and uploads of 256K.  Work faster online with Basic DSL.

DSL 1.5

DSL 1.5 is now offered for the new, lower price of $49.95 per month.  DSL 1.5 is flat out fast. Perfect for businesses requiring super fast connections to corporate headquarters or for those with home offices needing to send or retrieve large volumes of data. Connecting 15 times faster than dial-up, DSL 1.5 provides downloads of up to 1.5 Mbps and 512 K uploads.

DSL 3.0

DSL 3.0 is now offered for the new, lower price of $69.95 per month.  It's one of SST's newest product offerings.  Whether for work or play, if you need super fast speed, you'll want to step up to DSL 3.0. For only $20 more per month, you'll double your speed to lightning-fast downloads of up to 3.0Mbps and 768K uploads. DSL 6.0 New!!!!! We've just begun offering DSL 6.0. It is our fastest offering, for anyone who simply must have our fastest available speed.  Maximum work and play efficiency with downloads of up to 6.0Mbps and 1Mbps uploads.   DSL Maintenance Plan New!!!!!!! Protect yourself from the cost of unexpected DSL repairs.  For $3.95 per month, you can now protect your DSL modem, wiring and jacks. You’ll save time too because you won’t have to bring your modem into our offices to be tested.  With the DSL Maintenance Plan, our servicemen come to your home or business.  With this protection in place, you avoid paying expensive trip charges for DSL repairs.  The only equipment covered by the plan is the repair or replacement of modems purchased from SST. Nearly 75 percent of SST customers already subscribe to our telephone maintenance plan.  We cover inside telephone wiring and standard jack problems at your home for $1.50 per month or at your business for $2 per month.  If you have SST’s DSL service, you can now protect your DSL and telephone lines for the combined rate of $5.45 per month for residential customers and $5.95 per month for business customers. Moving from Dial-Up to DSL: Something to Consder Many dial-up Internet customers maintain two telephone lines - one for Internet and the other for calls. DSL technology allows users to work online and take or make calls with only one line. Dial-up customers maintaining two telephone lines can save about $5 a month by switching to basic DSL which is $34.95 per month. The cost of dial-up Internet plus the phone line with associated taxes and fees is about $39.95 per month.

Important DSL Information For all DSL products, most customers will need to live within three to four miles of an SST switch facility.  For DSL 3.0, some customers may need to be in closer proximity to the switch.  Not all customers will live within range of DSL. You must verify your computer is equipped with a network interface card (NIC) prior to applying for service.  Click here to determine if your computer is equipped with a NIC.  If your equipment is not properly equipped, there will be a $60 per trip charge for each additional trip required to complete installation.  Additional jacks are $60 each.  A $95 early termination fee will be assessed if service is cancelled prior to conclusion of one-year contract.  DSL service is available only in SST's telephone service area.  You must have basic telephone service with SST to have this service.
